The ceremony and reception are both at Station 3, one of Houston's oldest fire stations. Station 3 is on the southwest corner of Houston Avenue and Spring Street. There is free parking at the northwest corner of the intersection.

Rich says: Use Google Maps.
Monica says: Take an Uber.
Monica thinks "cocktail attire" is sufficient. Rich thinks more description is needed: anything from a suit, dressed down, to a tuxedo will be fine. Blazer, jeans, tie / shirt, slacks, tie on the casual end.
Make sure you bring your dancing shoes!
You're in Texas now. Parking is a breeze. There is a parking lot on the northwest corner of the intersection, adjacent to the venue. The venue is on the southwest corner of the intersection.
Our wedding is at Station 3 Fire House. Monica thinks it's cool because (1) it's pretty and (2) you can see downtown. Rich thinks it's cool because (1) it's local government, (2) it's privatized, (3) it has a fire pole, and (4) it's really, really pretty -- the upstairs floors are the original hardwood, how cool is that?
Here's what their marketing materials say:
Station 3, otherwise known as "Stonewall", was one of Houston's original fire stations. Built in 1905, it's everlasting motto, "Trust in Us" can still be seen etched into the buildings stone today. In its beginning, it used to put out Houston's hot flames using horse drawn wagons and steamers!
Station 3 is one of the cities historical landmarks, located directly outside of downtown. The original brick, wood floors, concrete beams, and intricate hand carved exterior stone work all add to its timeless beauty and charm.
Station 3 has recently undergone a complete restoration project, bringing many of its amenities into the 21st century.
